Description

Charles Darwin’s writing is not usually used in choral music, but this particular setting evokes a sense of the sacred within the secular. The introspective motifs and hymn like homophonic sections turn scientific writing into something more spiritual cutting to the ineffable in nature and hinting that perhaps science and spirit aren’t so different after all.
