Here I Am

Created for online live stream performance or video conference during the initial COVID-19 lockdown, "Here I Am" embraces the inherent latency of online video conference platforms. Most of the work is in aleatoric format, where singers are asynchronously singing specific phrases in repetition. It is a gift to the choral community, and is available for download at no charge. When performed in-person, it offers an opportunity for reflection on our experience of pandemic isolation and the importance of connection with others.
